_By regulation_

# Every regulation you answer to. One review process.

Choose the regulation you're working toward to see what it requires and what Clearly AI produces for it. Behind every one is the same process: your requirements become a versioned review template, Clearly AI drafts the assessment from the docs, tickets, and code your teams already have, and your team approves every finding.

_How it works_

## The same process for every regulation

1. **Load your requirements**

Upload the regulation, your requirement mapping, or your control library. Clearly AI turns it into a versioned review template in hours, not a six-month configuration project.

2. **Gather the evidence**

Point Clearly AI at a product, vendor, or AI system, or let a Jira ticket or ServiceNow request start the review. Agents read the specs, design docs, contracts, tickets, and code behind it.

3. **Assess each requirement**

Clearly AI marks each requirement compliant, partially compliant, noncompliant, missing info, or not applicable, with the source that supports it. When evidence is missing or conflicting, it says so instead of guessing.

4. **Approve and record**

Your reviewer checks the draft, edits where they disagree, and approves it. Clearly AI records who approved it, when, and against which template version, so you can show an auditor or regulator exactly what was assessed.

_One platform_

## The reviews regulations ask for are the ones you already run

Regulations call for threat models, privacy impact assessments, vendor risk assessments, and AI risk reviews. Clearly AI runs all of them on one platform and one license, so the context and evidence gathered for one regulation carry into the next.

- **Product security assurance:**
Assess every product against your controls, mapped to the regulations you answer to. [See product security assurance](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/product-security-assurance)
- **Privacy operations:**
Draft PIAs and DPIAs from source documents and keep data maps and records of processing current. [See privacy operations](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/privacy)
- **Third-party risk:**
Review vendors against your criteria, starting from the documents they already sent. [See third-party risk](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/third-party-risk)
- **AI and agentic security:**
Assess the AI models and agents you build and buy for security, privacy, and governance risk. [See AI and agentic security](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/ai-agentic-security)

### Product Security

Automate threat modeling and design reviews. Ship secure features faster.

> With Clearly AI, we provided the documentation for the product and within a minute, here's all that documentation generated that would've taken developers weeks to create. We're seeing immediate impact with the threat modeling...weeks reduced down to minutes, literally.
>
> — William Brown, Sr. Director of Product Security and Privacy, HID Global

[See product security features](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/product-security-assurance)

### Privacy

Generate regulator-ready PIAs and DPIAs in minutes, not weeks.

> Clearly AI allowed us to condense what would otherwise take weeks or sometimes months into a matter of days, if not hours. We quadrupled the number of PIAs that we could complete in a given year with Clearly AI. It accelerated that process and at the same time gave us something that was a much higher quality.
>
> — Jim Gregoire, Sr. Director Privacy & AI Governance, Rivian

[See privacy features](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/privacy)

### Third-Party Risk

Assess vendor security with the same rigor as your own products.

> With Clearly AI we immediately get the initial analysis for us to look at and it saves us a ton of time and a ton of CMD+F. Clearly AI has definitely helped us prioritize our security risks and really focus our resources on the most impactful ones.
>
> — Sara Hobe, Security Risk Management, Affirm

[See third-party risk features](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/third-party-risk)

### AI Governance

Assess third party and in-house AI, agents, and LLMs for security, privacy, risk, and compliance.

> Clearly AI enabled us to have faster, more consistent, and more transparent reviews across Privacy Operations and AI governance, turning a historically manual, high-variability process into a trust-preserving, automated pipeline that reduces backlog, elevates risk visibility, and accelerates safe innovation.
>
> — Mariel Combs, Sr. Privacy Program Manager, Ericsson

_FAQ_

## Answers to your top questions

### What is a regulatory compliance assessment?

A regulatory compliance assessment checks a product, vendor, or AI system against a regulation's requirements and documents where it meets them, where it falls short, and what evidence supports each answer. Clearly AI drafts these assessments from the documents, tickets, and code your teams already have, cites a source for every answer, and leaves the approval to your team.

### Which regulations can Clearly AI assess against?

Any regulation you can express as requirements. Clearly AI works from the requirements you load, so it isn't limited to a fixed list. Teams use it for the [EU Cyber Resilience Act](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/compliance/cyber-resilience-act) and the Radio Equipment Directive, privacy regulations like GDPR, AI rules like the EU AI Act, and financial services rules like NYDFS Part 500, as well as their own internal standards.

### Does using Clearly AI make us compliant?

No. No tool can. Clearly AI assesses your products, vendors, and AI systems against a regulation's requirements, flags the gaps, and drafts the documentation. Your team closes the gaps, approves the assessments, and remains responsible for compliance.

### Is Clearly AI a continuous compliance monitoring tool?

No. Clearly AI doesn't watch running systems, cloud dashboards, or control status. Each assessment is a point-in-time review of a specific product version, vendor, or AI system, triggered when something is designed, released, or changed, or on a schedule you set.

### Can we use our own interpretation of a regulation?

Yes. Upload your requirement mapping or control library, and Clearly AI applies it as a versioned review template. When your interpretation changes, update the template. New assessments use the new version, and you can rerun past assessments against it.

### Can one assessment cover more than one regulation?

Yes. Map your internal controls to several regulations and frameworks, and one assessment of a product shows where it stands against each. [See product security assurance](https://clearly-ai.com/solutions/product-security-assurance)

### What does Clearly AI need to run an assessment?

The documents your teams already have: specs, design docs, architecture diagrams, bills of materials, contracts, vendor packages, tickets, and code. Clearly AI gathers that context itself and marks a requirement missing info when the evidence isn't there. [See all integrations](https://clearly-ai.com/integrations)

### How do we show an auditor or regulator what was assessed?

Share the assessment record. Every answer links to the source behind it, every change keeps a history of who made it and why, and every assessment is tied to the template version it ran against. [See how Clearly AI ensures quality](https://clearly-ai.com/platform/quality)

### Does Clearly AI replace our GRC platform?

No. Clearly AI produces the assessment and its evidence, and sends risks to the tools you already run, like Archer and ServiceNow. Your GRC platform stays the system of record for your control framework.

### What if our regulation isn't listed here?

Assess against it anyway. Upload the regulation text, your control mapping, or your internal standard, and Clearly AI turns it into a review template in hours. [See how tuning and customization work](https://clearly-ai.com/platform/quality)

## Bring your regulation mapping to the demo

We'll show how it becomes a review template, then walk a sample product through an assessment, with every finding cited to its source.
